Red Mountain Makers is the Birmingham area's non profit makerspace!We are a volunteer-run, membership based workspace that provides affordable access to the tools, equipment, knowledge, and skills you need to create and make your ideas real. We're here for artisans, artists, hobbyists, tinkerers, entrepreneurs, and DIYers and have a variety of equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, wood and metal working tools, and sewing machines. We're conveniently located in downtown Birmingham just across I-65 from the Innovation District and less than a mile from Railroad Park. Our official address is 810 4th Avenue North, but our parking entrance is at 807 5th Avenue North. Just take 6th Street North to 5th Avenue North, head one block west and enter the large chain link gate with our signs on it. Continue back towards 4th Avenue, park in the gravel lot, and ring the bell if the door isn't open! CREATIVITY POWERED!
