Build an Adirondack chair for your outdoor patio during this fun Saturday afternoon activity.
You will start from templates for all the different parts, cut them, sand them and finally assemble them. The last step will be to (optionally) add a coat of finish to further protect them from wear and tear.
Throughout the entire class an instructor will guide you through the process and guarantee your safety. All materials as well as safety equipment will be provided.
What to wear: You must dress safely and appropriately. Arrive for class in long pants, and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long sleeves should be avoided if possible and rolled up if necessary. Long hair must be tied back and dangly necklaces, earrings or other accessories shall be removed before starting the class. Additional protective gear will be provided as needed.
About the Instructor: James is an expert carpenter and has built hundreds of these adirondacks. You're in for a few exciting hours of building, under the supervision of this engaging, funny and knowledgeable instructor.
