  Enjoy the process of working with leather in this hands-on, small-group experience. Participants will create a personalized leather key fob using natural vegetable-tanned leather, choosing simple design details and color to make the piece their own.

  While you’ll leave with a finished leather piece, the focus of this class goes beyond the project itself. Participants are introduced to foundational leatherworking tools and techniques that can be applied to a wide range of future projects, building confidence to continue creating independently.

  Participants must be 18 or older.

  Design and make a leather bracelet using vegetable-tanned leather. In this hands-on class, students will choose a stamp, select a dye color, custom-fit the bracelet, and install a snap closure. Small-group instruction makes this an approachable introduction to leatherworking. Along the way, the class introduces the leather tools used for the project and explains how access to well-supplied tools supports skill-building and continued learning beyond the workshop.
