This hands-on course is perfect for those who have little to no experience with sewing machines. Gina will guide you through the fundamentals, ensuring you gain the confidence and skills needed to start on your sewing journey.

  
  

  **What You'll Learn:**

  - **Understanding Your Sewing Machine:** Get familiar with the different parts of a sewing machine, how to set it up, and the basics of machine maintenance.

  - **Basic Sewing Techniques:** Learn  essential sewing techniques such as threading the needle, loading the bobbin, and adjusting stitch length and tension.

  - **Practical Skills:** Practice straight and zigzag stitches, learn to pivot and turn fabric, and understand seam allowances.

  - **Project - :** Apply your new skills by creating a functional and stylish drawstring bag. This project is perfect for practicing your stitches and gives you a tangible result of your learning efforts.

  -Get hands-on experience with our provided new sewing machines.

  About the instructor - Gina Lee:

  My love for collecting vintage sewing machines have opened many paths for me. I have restored a long lost vintage singer machine. Then I grew into acquiring an industrial sewing machine.

  As a resident of Los Angeles, Ca., my exposure allowed me to experience production and percument in the fabric district in the downtown area.

  Pillow covers were my most requested items to make. I found such ease to kick out these projects on an industrial machine.
